IF IT BLEEDS

Fiction / 90min / 2025

Young journalist Agatha works at a right-wing news startup run by scandal-ridden media mogul Andreas Meixner. Hungry for a summer scoop, he sends her to rural Germany to cover the case of a missing girl. Determined to prove herself, Agatha resorts to tabloid tactics, emotionally pressuring the victim’s family and pushing ethical boundaries. But as her methods escalate, she begins to lose control—underestimating the destructive power of the story she’s shaping.
